Don’t Miss Out on a Mo-mentus Offer!
We’ve hit the home stretch! The 2011 Grill’d Movember offer ends this Thursday, November 17 so make sure you don’t miss out!
The response from Mo Bros and Mo Sistas has been inspiring to all involved. A few lucky punters now have their own mo combs and some even have their own personalised combs thanks to the assistance of several highly talented tattoo artists.
All of our team members have been working extra hard to make sure Mo Bros and Mo Sistas get an amazing Grill’d experience each and every visit. If you’ve enjoyed your Grill’d experience as much as we’ve enjoyed looking after you, make sure you let your local Grill’d team know next time you pop in – they’ll appreciate it.
Thousands of Mo Bros and Mo Sistas are helping make 2011 the successful thus far and it’s not too late to make your own contribution. Register with Movember and raise $40 to be entitled to one free burger per day. Our mo-mentus offer runs between 2.00pm and 3.30pm or 8.00pm and 9.30pm until November 17. Dine in essential so we can give you the best Grill’d experience.

Personally Grown, Hand Trimmed, Man Made.
Another year has passed, October has reached the mid-way point and it’s almost time for Movember! The technical way to describe the word Movember is as a portmanteau of the words 'moustache' and 'November.’ Movember is all about raising awareness and monetary support for men’s health, specifically prostate cancer and depression.
As you prepare your upper-lip for a glorious moustache and we get ready to welcome Mo Bro’s & Mo Sista’s at Grill’d, we thought we’d let you in on the finer details of our Movember offer. So, before moustache season officially begins, please take note of the following…
You’ll need to register with Movember and raise $40 to be entitled to one free burger per day. Our mo-mentus offer runs between 2.00pm and 3.30pm or 8.00pm and 9.30pm each day from November 8-17. Dine in essential so we can give you the best Grill’d experience.
The theme at Grill’d for Movember is a combination of high quality, traditionally made and hand crafted. This theme ties in closely to our Grill’d values and what we try to achieve with every burger made. Hopefully you can taste that it in our burgers (the love, hand crafted goodness and quality, not the Mo – that’s gross).
So, now’s the time to start thinking about how you’ll raise $40 for Movember and planning your moustache of choice for the season. Ready, set, mo…!

It’s Parklife time!
Hello friends! Well we’ve been quiet for a bit but that’s because we’ve been super busy gearing up for summer… and that means it’s almost summer festival time. To kick it off we are super excited to announce our partnership of Parklife Sydney 2011! We love our live music almost as much as our burgers (note the almost…) so to enjoy both at the same time we are bringing along the Grill’d Airstream. You can check out all the details on Parklife here. Banish those two day old dim sims and soggy chips to memories of festivals past because we’ll be there creating the country’s best burgers, prepared fresh and with the highest quality ingredients to keep you fuelled for the day’s frivolities!

Your good deed for the day
We thought it timely to touch base and get you up to speed on some exciting new happenings here at Grill’d in the month of June.

In Victoria we’re getting behind the Feed Melbourne campaign (www.feedmelbourne.org.au), which aims to raise money to help charities collect, store and distribute food to Victorians who are doing it tough. You might be surprised to learn that this year it is estimated 370,000 Victorians will, at some stage, not know when or where their next meal is coming from.

In New South Wales we’re supporting OzHarvest (www.ozharvest.org), a charity that rescues excess food which would otherwise be discarded and delivers meals to charities supporting the vulnerable. Currently in Sydney OzHarvest delivers 150,000 meals per month with a fleet of 7 vans. That’s a lot of meals!

We’d love your help in supporting these amazing charities. So visit your local Grill’d this month and after you’ve ordered your burger, we’ll give you a token (ok, it’s a bottle top). All we ask is that you put your token in one of the 3 jars representing 3 local groups associated with these charities. These groups are at the coal-face of providing much needed support to people who are doing it tough.

By the end of the month, we estimate we’ll have donated well over $20,000 to local charity groups associated with Feed Melbourne and OzHarvest. Not a bad effort.

We hope the jars and tokens will become a regular fixture at Grill’d as part of our Local Matters project, and in future months we’ll be taking the project to other States. Every month our Local Matters trolley will be featuring 3 different local groups who will be asking for your support. And we’ll be stumping up a $500 donation at each Grill’d to share amongst them. If you want to find out more or get your group’s name on one of our jars check out the Local Matters page on our website.

A Run In The Sun
Yesterdays sunny weather was the perfect setting for the annual "“Run For The Kids"” Fun Run, with 33,000 runners of all abilities descending upon Melbourne’s CBD. Once again we got on board and sponsored Team 100k – a group of amazing individuals who band together to raise as much moolah as possible for the Royal Children’s Hospital. In fact, for the third year running Team 100k will be the highest fundraising team in the event – an amazing effort.

All Team 100k members were invited back to Grill’d Degraves for some post run frivolity and the Grill’d Airstream was on hand in the event village to keep runners and spectators well nourished long after the run was done and dusted.

Thanks to everyone who supported the event.
